The primary design directive for Acoustic Dimensions’ Dallas offices was to create interconnected spaces that encourage collaboration. The open office design concept needed to balance work that requires focused concentration and interconnectivity of design teams with the creative energy that comes from conversation, while still providing isolated break out locations for meetings, or private discussions.

Beck Architecture, in close collaboration with the AD design team, came up with creative approaches to the aesthetics of the space along with leading the LEED process. A few of the many examples of LEED elements in the space include the use of renewable and recycled materials. All of the Lumber used for the interior design of the space was reclaimed. And at least 90% of the workstations have access to daylight.

The offices provide a comfortable space to spend hours in front of a computer, plenty of physical space to support connection and collaboration within the team, and, of course, plenty of drawing storage and layout space.
