AD Scope: Acoustics, Audio, VideoThe Student Services Center is the new gateway building and public face to LA Mission College. Each department will have dedicated space that will allow students and facility to access all services offered by the College at a single destination. The offices of the LA Mission College President will be located in the new center and be a place to receive visiting dignitaries and LAMC Foundation donors. The facility design showcases the natural landscape of the area focusing on warm open spaces and natural light.
Acoustic Dimensions scope for this project was acoustics and A/V design with an emphasis on creating efficient work spaces and conference rooms, information kiosks, flexibility to accommodate for future technology and speech privacy within the various spaces. The Student Services Center is seeking to achieve LEED Platinum rating.
