Basic Rehearsal A/V System, Stage SystemsRockwall ISD has made a committment to fine arts education in their community with the construction of a new performing arts center at Rockwall Heath High School. Rivaling a university or professional performance venue, the 1500-seat hall includes two balconies, dressing rooms, a green room, rehearsal space, a loading dock platform, set construction area and top-of-the-line audio and lighting systems.
The design of the new Performing Arts Theatre supports small to large, unamplified and amplified, instrumental ensembles and theatrical productions, functioning as a multi-purpose venue. The most challenging design aspect of the new Performing Arts Theatre was to build a visually intimate space for 1,500 people and also to create the room acoustics to be well-balanced to support the various types of performances.
