AD Scope: Acoustics, Audio, Video, LightingThe project will incorporate three existing music buildings into one new facility (new Music Building) with a gross area of 13,292 GSF (8,590 ASF) and the renovation of the existing Theatre Building originally built in 1968; the latter having a gross area of 27,724 GSF (14,664 ASF). The combined budget for these buildings is $11.1 million.
The Music Building will include a 300-seat recital hall, performance platform to accommodate 65 performers, two rehearsal rooms, labs, practice rooms, three facility offices and support space. The renovated Theatre Building will house a 299-seat performance hall, a black box studio, offices, classrooms, and scene shop, dressing rooms and support space.
