Grand Avenue has been in their current worship center for the last 28 years and made a decision to evaluate what needed to happen in the space to make it serve the ministry and congregation optimally as the congregation continues to grow and move forward.

One of the biggest challenges for the them was the need for a quick change between contemporary and traditional services. Acoustic Dimensions' concept included a series of three tabs which would drop in front of the choir loft along with a lighting look that could be accomplished with a set of gobos. This enables the church to continue with their more traditional early service and then transition to a more stylized look for their more contemporary service. 

AD developed a solution to resolve sightline issues in the balcony and developed a stage design that would allow the room to better support connection between the platform and the congregation.

Acoustic Dimensions lead Grand Avenue in interactive sessions that allowed them to explore what is possible in the space with regard to scenic design, acoustics and performance technologies. The result was a fully developed concept design presented in full color visualizations that would assist them in communicating their desires for the new space to others.
