The Rolling Hills Community worship space is a good example of a project where STC was able to a make a significant contribution to the success of the project. As ministry objectives were defined, it was determined that an innovative seating layout would assist in accomplishing the church’s goals. While the space was to accomodate seating for 2,600, the desire was to not lose that sense of connectedness. The layout provides good sightlines not only into the platform area but all across the room. The side seating sections, with their small vertical off sets, create greatly improved acoustics for the center seats as well as great sightlines for the side seating sections.
STC work included designs for production control rooms and studio space as well as the acoustics, video and audio designs for the main worship space. The sound system utilizes a Left/Center/Right multi-channel speaker system with a combination using both line-arrays and a conventional center channel speaker array, digital mixing console and recording systems.
