The new chapel at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (SWBTS) is a 106,000 sq ft. building with a 3,500-seat main auditorium, multi-purpose rooms and Spanish-style architecture. It is a focal point of the campus and a key place for students and faculty to come together and worship. The project was designed to train students in expository preaching, create a place for celebration and a serve as a premier auditorium not only for the SWBTS campus but also for the surrounding communities.
Also included in the project is a large Media/Communications Office, Choir Room large enough for a 200+ voice choir or theatrical group, orchestral rehearsal rooms and multiple library rooms to showcase the libraries of prominent theologians.
