Morrison Heights acquired 67 acres of land to relocate their campus. Phase 1 of construction was completed in early 2007 and included a new 1200 seat fan-shaped worship center that seats 150 in the choir.
In developing their new facility, they wanted a space that would have excellent acoustics, lighting, screen projection, an easily accessed choir room, and a larger choir loft and stage. They also produce two large-scale productions during the year and weekly dramatic performances and required that their new facility be designed to support those ministries.
AD worked with the client and design team to create a room that would support the spoken word and praise and worship. The room is also designed to allow for future expansion and upgrades.
