Our Savior’s Church was started in 1998 and in the few years since then, it has grown to over 1500 in regular attendance at multiple campuses. To accomodate it’s rapidly growing congregation, they sought a new 1100-seat expandable worship center to serve as the permanent campus in Lafayette.
The new facility needed to have a high level of audio, video and lighting systems to support the church’s dynamic praise and worship. Acoustic Dimensions worked closely with the Church and design team to incorporate the acoustical recommendations and technical systems into the architecture. This involved special attention to the unique architectural features, paritcularly the ceiling which included a center pop-up with windows and an eye-brow over the platform. Accommodations were provided for future expansion into a dedicated video production room when they decide to include camera systems for Image Magnification or broadcast to a sattelite venue. Hi resolution video was distributed to displays in the lobby, backstage, and throughout the facility.
Maintaining relationships was a key factor in planning and installation of the technical systems. Acoustic Dimensions worked closely with the Church’s vendors through the design and installation process to tighten down the technical systems and provide them with as much value as possible.
